We stand behind the quality of our products. Oneyard provides a tiered warranty to ensure your peace of mind:
- Frame: 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Battery: 6-month limited warranty.
- Battery Charger: 6-month limited warranty.
- Main Components (Motor, Controller, Display): Please refer to your specific model’s manual for detailed coverage.
- Note: Wear and tear items (tires, brake pads, chains) are not covered.
How do I get my bike serviced if I have a problem?
Oneyard is proud to offer local support. If you encounter any issues, you can visit our authorized service centers in Toronto or contact our technical support team via email. We carry a full range of spare parts to get you back on the road quickly.
What is the top speed of Oneyard e-bikes?
To comply with Ontario Power-Assisted Bicycle regulations, all Oneyard e-bikes are factory-set to a maximum speed of 32 km/h (20 mph). The motor will automatically stop providing power once this speed is reached on public roads.
Can the speed limit be removed?
Yes, our high-performance motors are capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h (depending on the model and configuration). However, unlocking the speed limit is strictly for use on private property or closed racing tracks.
- Disclaimer: Modifying or unlocking the speed limit for use on public roads is illegal in Canada and voids your warranty. Oneyard is not responsible for any legal consequences, fines, or accidents resulting from unauthorized speed modifications or off-road usage.
Do I need a license or insurance to ride a Oneyard e-bike?
In Ontario, as long as the bike meets the legal requirements (32 km/h limit, working pedals, and under 500W output), you do not need a driver’s license, vehicle permit, or insurance. However, riders must be at least 16 years old and wear a mandatory helmet.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Charging time typically ranges from 4 to 8 hours, depending on the battery capacity and the current state of charge. We recommend using only the original Oneyard charger provided with your bike to maintain battery health.
Can I leave the charger plugged in overnight?
While our chargers have an auto-shutoff feature, it is best practice to unplug the charger once the green light appears to prevent unnecessary power consumption and heat buildup.
Can I charge my battery in cold weather?
While you can ride in the cold, we strongly recommend charging your battery indoors at room temperature. Charging a frozen battery can cause permanent damage to the cells.
Why does the charger light stay red for a long time?
This is normal. When the battery reaches 90-100%, the BMS performs a "balancing" process to ensure all cells are charged equally. This may take an extra hour. Please be patient and wait for the green light.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes! We offer shipping across Canada. For customers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), we also offer local pickup and "Ready-to-Ride" assembly services at our partner locations.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 7-day return policy for unridden, unassembled bikes in their original packaging. Please note that shipping fees and a restocking fee may apply.
